If there is anything I hate about Bangkok more than its weather, it’s for surely the fact that you still get light out every now and then when it rains. Today, again, it rained a little bit and then BANG no more electricity. It’s been out for about an hour now and i stuck here with, thanks God, my dearest LG eve with her unlimited GPRS package. The worst thing is i’ve been trying to download this one anime since early morning, because my internet connection is so great, and now that the light’s out, the internet’s out too! So i’m gonna have to reload the whole 200mb again tomorrow TT^TT
Oh, and just to let you know why i said this is certainly not my day, it’s because earlier today I failed trying to make my own cookies cutter and got two big blisters on my thumb due to my own stupidity.
Well, mom just called the elctric people and they said “we’re on our way to fix the problem and we can’t tell you exactly how long it’ll take because we’re not yet at the site.” This sentence, when said by Thai people, can sometimes mean ‘you keep on waiting and pray it’ll come back sometime tonight and not tomorrow morning’.
Geez, mom’s complaining about me ruining my eyes using mobile in darkness again… so i’ll come back and edit this later if I haven’t forget about it when the light’s back.

First off, though i’ve been on wordpress since sometime last year, this is my first time blogging in wordpress! So forgive me if it’s a little weird. And just so you know, I’m a university student studying culinary art, so i’ll post here mostly about either what I made or what I ate. ^^ Oh, and forgive me if there’s grammar mistake or overuse of Asian-style emoticons, for I’m an Asian with Singlish as my mother toungue, yet I normally speaks American-English.
I’ve been around in wordpress readinjg off other people’s blog for quite some time, mostly being a curious, food-crave fangirl, and finally I think it’s time for me to start one of my own right here. I’dve got quite a number of blogs on various site and as the description goes, they are all just one of my so many sides. This one, hopefully, will be about my food, my recipe, and my journey towards my dream of becoming a pastry chef.
In the picture, I’m uploading this via andriod so I don’t really know where the picture will be, but anyway, in the picture is my Alhambra cake (Hazelnut Torte). The cake was made by me and my partner, the masking and glazing by my partner, and the decoration including the marzipan roses are by me.
Since I’m always know as the one with unreadable handwriting, the writing part was really frightening to me. Luckily, the teacher said it turned out great! ^^ tell me what you guys thing about it! Positive or negative, I’m willing to listen.
Oh, and by the way, the cake was filled and masked with chocolate garnache then glazed with chocolate glaze (ganarche a glace if I’m not mistaken). If any of you want the recipe, tell me and I’ll post it in my next entry since my recipe is in my locker at the time being.
